Vinicius singles out Bellingham after matching CR7

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior had some high praise for Jude Bellingham, who matched a Cristiano Ronaldo record after scoring twice on Saturday.

The England international continued his fine start to life in the Spanish capital, taking his tally to ten goals with his brace against Osasuna.

Bellingham became the first player since Ronaldo to score seven goals after his first eight LaLiga appearances.

Vinicius, who also scored on Saturday, was full of praise for the new Los Blancos star.

"Incredible. He was born to play for Real Madrid and mark an era in the greatest team in the world," Vinicius said after the game, as per Marca.

When asked about his understanding with Bellingham, the Brazilian added, : "I hope it's a connection of many years together here. I'm delighted to play with him."

Los Blancos full-back Dani Carvajal echoed Vinicius' remarks about the Englishman, who is the club's top scorer this campaign.

"He's doing everything well. Goals, assists, good performances... You can see how good a player he is," the defender said.

"It's not easy to put on this shirt and do it like this. In the games he puts on the superhero cape and he's doing it phenomenal".
