Cristiano Ronaldo chooses his favourite goal

After scoring numerous spectacular goals over the years, Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has now chosen his favourite goal.   The Portugese superstar has been well known to be a scorer of great goals over his career. He was also the recipient of the first-ever FIFA Puskas award in 2009 while at Manchester United.   In an interview with Piers Morgan for ITV, Ronaldo revealed his overhead-kick against Juventus in the 2017/2018 campaign was his favouriie career goal.

The goal was also voted UEFA's Goal of the Season, although it earned second place in 2018's Puskas voting behind Mohamed Salah's solo goal against Everton.   I tried to score this goal for many, many years. I had scored 700-odd goals but I hadn't done this. I thought, 'Finally, I had scored a bicycle, the beautiful jumping'.   "The way I had done against (Gianluigi) Buffon, against Juventus, in the Champions League. It was a beautiful goal."
