Now, preliminary investigations are set to start, with Italian prosecutor Pierfilippo Laviani to conduct it.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner reportedly has seven days to hand over defence briefs and is due to be questioned within the next two to four weeks.
The 30-year-old was first handed a precautionary suspension by Italy's Anti-Doping Tribunal after testing positive in August, and has been training on an individual basis as he awaits the outcome of the investigation.
If found guilty, the midfielder could find himself being banned from the sport for four years, although Pogba's agent Rafaela Pimenta has previously insisted that the former Manchester United man never intended to break any rules.
His positive test is reported to have stemmed from him taking a food supplement purchased in the United States on the advice of a doctor friend of his, with Juventus claiming they were not aware of this.

Prior to the provisional suspension, Pogba had made just 12 appearances for Juventus since returning to the club the previous campaign, and has so far failed to start a game for Massimiliano Allegri's side in this campaign.
