Cristiano Ronaldo and new Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri were involved in what appeared to be a touchline spat in the Bianconeri's 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, and the former Chelsea boss has now lifted the lid on the exchange.
Spurs secured a dramatic victory over Sarri's side courtesy of Harry Kane's stunning halfway-line winner in an International Champions Cup tie in Singapore on Sunday.
However, much of the attention was focused on what looked like a heated exchange between Sarri and Ronaldo after the former Real Madrid superstar was substituted in the 63rd minute of the encounter.

Sarri has since revealed what transpired between him and Ronaldo, claiming that the exchange between him and the former Manchester United talisman was merely a discussion regarding the Portugal international's amount of playing time."We agreed to let him play for an hour," the former Blues boss said, as per Daily Mirror.
"Ronaldo asked me how much time he had left before coming off. I told him five to six minutes.
"At the time of his substitution, I only asked him how he was."
The 60-year-old also discussed his plans to get the best out of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
"Cristiano won everything individually and collectively by shifting slightly to the left wing and then cutting inside," Sarri added.
"My first attempt will be to start him in that position, but with his qualities, playing him 10 metres further in would not make a difference."
