Sky in Italy reported that the Netherlands international will leave the Dutch giants for the Serie A champions.

There were reports in Spain on Friday claim Real Madrid had entered the race to sign the highly-rated defender, but it seems he has already made up his mind.

It is believed that De Ligt would cost Juventus in the region of £62million, which would be the club's second biggest transfer after Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, it's being reported in Italy that talks between the player's agent, Mino Raiola and Juventus are still ongoing.

De Ligt played a key role in helping Ajax Amsterdam clinch the league and cup double, while they also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
