Inter Milan star striker Mauro Icardi, who has been linked with Real Madrid, has released a statement with regards to his future at the club.
The Argentine spent a large spell of 2019 on the sidelines due to injury and a dispute with the club over a contract extension.
Icardi has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United in this transfer window.
However, the 26-year-old announced on his Instagram that he has no desire to leave the San Siro next season.
"In response to incorrect media reports linking me with an exit from Inter Milan, " Icardi posted on his Instagram account.
"This does not reflect my thoughts, as I have repeatedly told the club that I want to stay, and I want fans to know that.
"I hope this will end any more misunderstandings, I have told Inter my feelings.
"Inter Milan are my family."
