Official: Juventus confirm Massimiliano Allegri departure

Juventus have confirmed that manager Massimiliano Allegri will leave the club after guiding them to five Serie A titles in as many seasons since his arrival.

In a statement released by the Italian giants, they confirmed the veteran tactician will depart after their final game of the season this month.

"The coach and the president, Andrea Agnelli, will meet the media together at the press conference, which will be held tomorrow, Saturday 18 May, at 2 pm in the conference hall of the Allianz Stadium," the statement translated from Italian read.

It marks an end to his reign that yielded 11 domestic titles, including five consecutive league crowns and two runners-up finishes in the UEFA Champions League.

Former manager Antonio Conte and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri have reportedly been touted as the early front-runners to replace the former Milan boss.
