The ball boy who reportedly requested Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey over the weekend could be slapped with a fine by Juventus.
Ronaldo made headlines on Sunday when he was seen tossing his Juventus jersey to the ground following the Bianconeri's 3-1 Serie A victory over Genoa.
In the immediate aftermath of the match, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was accused of disrespecting the club by discarding his shirt but it was later revealed that he had thrown it towards a ball boy on the side of the pitch.
However, Italian publication Repubblica h/t CalcioMercato report that the ball boy is a member of Juventus' U-13 squad and that he could now face punishment for requesting Ronaldo's jersey.
The club reportedly prohibits their youth players from asking senior stars for their strips and the youngster could now face a "penalty", although the nature of the potential fine or punishment has not been disclosed.
