Inter Milan have reportedly set their asking price for Romelu Lukaku amid reports linking the striker with a return to Chelsea.
The Blues are believed to have shortlisted Lukaku alongside Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland and Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane as three potential transfer targets for next season.
Chelsea's current attack force of Timo Werner, Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham have all failed to hit top form under manager Thomas Tuchel, and the latter duo are widely expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, a move for Haaland or Kane is "complicated" at this stage, meaning Lukaku, who failed to score in 15 appearances during his time with Chelsea, could be set to make a sensational return to the club.
However, Tuchel would need to break the Premier League giants' transfer record to land the Belgium striker after Inter reportedly slapped a £105 million (R2 billion) price tag on his head, a sum significantly larger than the £72 million (R1.4 bn) the Blues paid to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Nerazzurri chairman Steven Zhang, who is based in China, is also said to have flown to Milan for the first time in six months in order to hold talks over the 27-year-old's future at the club, as well as that of manager Antonio Conte.
Lukaku has scored 61 goals in 91 appearances since joining Inter from Manchester United in 2019, and appears poised to fire the Italian club to their first Serie A title since the 2009/10 campaign under Jose Mourinho.
