Juventus have reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane as possible replacement for Andrea Pirlo after a disappointing 2020/21 season.
The Old Lady saw their 10-year stranglehold of the Serie A come to an end this season after Inter Milan were crowned champions last weekened.
Juventus also suffered another embarrasing UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of FC Porto in the round of 16.
Tuttosport have reported that Zidane and Napoli manager Gennaro Gattuso have been considered possible replacements for Pirlo.
Zidane's future at Los Blancos remains unclear but the Frenchman's salary reportedly could be an obstabcle for Juventus, who have been trying to cut costs due to the financial effort of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Frenchman was coy on his future ahead of Sunday night's encounter against Sevilla.
"I'm going to make it very easy for the club, because they've given me everything," Zidane said, as per Football Italia.
"But the issue is Sevilla, nothing more. Sevilla and what's left of La Liga."
Zidane spent five years as a player at Juventus before he made the switch to Los Blancos in 2001.
