The report claims Roma Club sporting director Tiago Pinto wants a short-team loan deal, with the option to make it permanent next season.

A four-year contract has reportedly been put on the table by Roma, although there has been no progress on talks aout a possible transfer fee for the future.
Maitland-Niles has not featured for the Gunners since November and has only made a total of eight appearances in the Premier League this campaign.
The 24-year-old was also not pleased with his Deadline Day transfer and took to social media to vent his frustration.
