Romelu Lukaku: Italian pundit sacked for racist comments on Belgium striker

Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has been subject to racism in Italy again, but this time on live television, as a commentator has now been sacked for his shocking statements.

Lukaku was subject to monkey chants in Serie A earlier this month away to Cagliari, which sparked massive uproar due to similar incidents ocurring at the same ground.

But now a pundit, speaking on speaking on Top Calcio 24 trying to compliment Belgium's record scorer, went too far in his 'praise' by claiming he could only be stopped with bananas.

"Lukaku is one of the strongest, I like him a lot because he has strength: he is the alter ego of [Duvan] Zapata at Atalanta," Luciano Passirani said, as per CNN.
