Romelu Lukaku has reignited his feud with Zlatan Ibrahimovic after firing Inter Milan to the Serie A title.
Last weekend, Inter ended Juventus' nearly decade-long hold over the Serie A trophy after securing the 2020/21 title with four matches to spare for the campaign.
Lukaku, who joined Inter from Manchester United in August 2019, played an integral role in the Nerazzurri's triumph by netting 21 goals in 33 league appearances thus far, a tally second only to the Bianconeri's Cristiano Ronaldo (27).
After helping secure the coveted silverware for his side, the Belgian star was quick to share his thoughts on social media with a taunt directed at AC Milan star Ibrahimovic.
"The real God has crowned the king, now bow down! King of Milano," he wrote on Twitter, in reference to a previous exchange between himself and the Swedish striker.
In February last year, Lukaku claimed that "there's a new king in town" after Inter's 4-2 victory over their crosstown rivals, which was met by Ibrahimovic's response that "Milano never had a king, they have a GOD" when AC Milan won 2-1 in a corresponding fixture in October.
The tension between the duo also boiled over when the pair clashed on the pitch and had to be separated by teammates during the Milan derby in January this year.
