Inter Milan ended a run of three Serie A games without a win on Monday evening, while Bologna proved too strong for Parma at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
Inter Milan 2-0 Chievo
Inter Milan maintained their grip on third spot after edging past Chievo 2-0 the San Siro on Monday night.
The hosts came in to the clash winless in their last three matches, but a solitary strike from Matteo Politano in the 39th minute set them on their way before Ivan Perisic sealed the win with his eighth league goal of the season.
The win sees Inter move back up to third spot with two games remaining, while Chievo have nothing to play having been relegated already.
Bologna 4-1 Parma
Parma's poor run in Serie A continued after suffering a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Bologna on Monday evening.
After a scoreless first half, the hosts raced into a three-goal lead through goals from Riccardo Orsolini, Lyanco and an own goal from Luigi Sepe.
Parma, who had Bruno Alves sent off after 60 minutes, pulled one back through Roberto Inglese in the 81st minutes, but Bologna managed to grab a fourth thanks to another own, with Francisco Sieralta scoring into his own net.
The win moves Bologna up to 13th spot, while Parma remain in 15th after extending their winless run to nine matches.
