Genoa 1-2 Atalanta
Atalanta collected their second win in Serie A after seeing off Genoa 2-1 at the Stade Luigi Ferrari on Sunday.
A penalty from Luis Muriel on 64 minutes opened the deadlock, but Daniel Criscito responded with a spot kick in added time however Duvan Zapata lashed the winner from the spot later on.
SPAL 2-1 Lazio
SPAL stunned Lazio with a 2-1 victory at the Stadio Paolo Mazza, ending a two-match winless run in the process.
Ciro Immobile put the visitors in front with a 17th minute penalty, but Andrea Petagna levelled on 63 minutes before Jasmin Krutic smacked the winner in added time.
Brescia 3-4 Bologna
Bologna's fine start continued with an entertaining 4-3 victory over ten-man Brescia at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti.
Alfredo Donnarumma gave the hosts a dream start with a 20th minute double. Mattia Bani hit back on 36 minutes but Andrea Cistana put the hosts further ahead after 42 minutes.
Daniele Dessena saw red on 48 minutes, as Rodrigo Palacio launched Bologna's comeback on 56 minutes with Stefano Sabelli's own-goal levelling on 60 minutes. However, Ricardo Orsolini popped up with the winning goal netted on 80 minutes to send Bologna second.
Parma 1-3 Cagliari
Cagliari returned to winning ways with an impressive 3-1 away over Parma after back-to-back defeats to Brescia and Inter Milan.
Luca Ceppitelli's brace and GIovanni Simeone inspired the Blues to victory, despite Antonino Barilla's 58th minute scare.
AS Roma 4-2 Sassuolo
Roma picked up their first win this season with a 4-2 triumph over Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Roma went into halftime with all four strikes through Bryan Cristante, Edin Dzeko, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Justin Kluivert.
Domenico Berardi slotted a double minutes of each other to reduce the deficit for the away side, but Roma managed to hold on.
Verona 0-1 AC Milan
AC Milan grabbed a second successive win with a 1-0 victor Hellas Verona, as both the sides finished with ten-man.
Mariusz Stepinski was first to go on 21 minutes, prompting Krzysztof Piatek to the winner from the spot on 68 minutes.
Meanwhile, Milan's David Calabria was sent off after receiving a straight red card in added time for an unsavoury challenge.
