Reigning CAF Men's Footballer of the Year Victor Osimhen is now said to be close to completing a deal to join one of Europe's biggest teams, where he will reportedly earn a staggering €13 million (R262 million) a year.
Speculation around Osimhen's future has not relented over the course of the season, with many reports suggesting that he is highly likely to leave Napoli at the end of a campaign in favour of a big move.

Several European juggernauts have been linked with the imposing striker's services, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Sports Mole, the Blues are preparing a €200 million (R4 billion) fire sale at Stamford Bridge in order to fund a potential deal for the Nigeria centre-forward.
However, per Italian outlet Il Mattino, it is PSG who are leading the race for Osimhen's signature, amid Kylian Mbappe's impending departure from the Parc des Princes.
It is claimed a source told the publication that the transfer is close, with Osimhen said to be set to sign a four-year deal worth €13 million annually.
That annual salary would make the Super Eagle the fifth-highest player at PSG after Ousmane Dembele, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernandez and Milan Skriniar next season.
Osimhen is believed to have a release clause of €120 million (R2.4 billion) in his Napoli contract, which Les Parisiens would be willing to pay to kick-start the post-Mbappe era.
