Tanzania head coach Adel Amrouche has been removed from his position one day ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations clash against Zambia.
The coach made some shocking remarks about Morocco after their 3-0 defeat on Wednesday night, claiming the North African side had influence on the game.

CAF have since decided to suspend Amrouche for eight games but the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) have now also suspended the coach.

TFF president Wallace Karia also previously denounced Amrouche's remarks and claims they have a good relationship with Morocco.
"We as [the] TFF do not agree with his comments," Karia said in a video posted by Azam TV., external
"Those are his own personal sentiments as a coach. We are Caf members, and we know Caf follows its own procedures without influence from any country.
"The TFF and the Moroccan football federation are friends."
