Iniesta: The two teams who could win UCL

Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta has named the two sides who could win the UEFA Champions League following his former club's exit from the tournament.

Barca have struggled in the UEFA Champions League since Lionel Messi's departure, having been knocked out of the Group Stages for two consecutive seasons.

A number of top European sides joined the Spanish side in the UEFA Europa League including the likes of Ajax, Juventus and Sevilla.

This has seemingly boosted the chances of some UCL favourites to achieve continental glory.

Iniesta has now delivered his verdict on which two teams are looking "strong" ahead of the Round of 16 clashes next year.

"It is difficult to predict what can happen in these competitions where there are very good teams. In the Champions League I see City and PSG strong, I think they will be close to winning it again." the 38-year-old said, per Football Espana.

"But the thing is that there are great teams and now they are in a moment of form and then in February we will see if it is another."

"Napoli, for example, have had a great phase but let's see how they are later. Liverpool and Madrid are also doing well.

"As for the World Cup, hopefully it is Spain who can take the trophy for the second time.

"In LaLiga, Madrid and Barça will be there, hopefully Barça can win because it would be a great confidence boost for this project."
