Young Boys 1-3 Manchester City
Manchester City maintained their perfect start in the UEFA Champions League group stages with a 3-1 victory over Young Boys on Wednesday night.
Josko Gvardiol, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva was relegated to the bench by manager Pep Guardiola as Mateo Kovacic, Nathan Ake, Matheus Nunes and Jeremy Doku replaced them.
With the first half providing no goals, City were ahead 48 minutes in after Manuel Kanji helped in a rebound as Ruben Dias' header clattered the upright.
It lasted just four minutes after Meschack Elia got in behind following a through pass and executed a superb lob over Ederson Moraes, but City were ahead again as Erling Haaland slotted in from the spot.
Haaland added a second in the last four minutes when he finished off Rodri's assist to help City to the win which maintained their perfect start in the group.
Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 AC Milan
Paris Saint-Germain strengthened their grip at the top of Group F with a dominant 3-0 victory over AC Milan
After being outclassed by Newcastle United, the host were keen to make amends and had the ideal start when Kylian Mbappe finished from Warren Zaire-Emery's delivery.
Milan, who have won this competition seven times, were down again two minutes in the second half through Ousmane Dembele's smart finish but luckily the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) intervened and disallowed the goal for offside.
However, the Italian giants weren't spared and did fall further behind as Mike Maignan spilled a rasping shot from Dembele into the path of Randal Kolo Muani who made no mistake.
Zaire-Emery was at it again when he set-up Korean Lee Kang-In to make it three in the closing minutes and leave Milan empty handed.
RB Leipzig 3-1 Red Star Belgrade
RB Leipzig got their second win of the season to keep their hopes to qualify for the last 16 alive following a 3-1 victory over Red Star Belgrade in Group G.
Leipzig made a bright start after David Raum capitalised on Xavi Simons' layoff to find the net before Raum turned provider early in the second half and set up Simons to make it two.
Red Star looked to rally back and were given a lifeline as mis-placed defending by the host allowed Marko Stamenic to sneak in and rattle the net.
Leipzig wiped out any hopes of a comeback though when Dani Olmo met a loose ball from the crossbar following Christopher Baumgartner's header and tucked in.
Newcastle United 0-1 Borussia Dortmund
Newcastle United suffered their first defeat in this season's tournament following a 1-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in Group F.
Argentine Miguel Almiron replaced Jacob Murphy before Alexander Isak started ahead of Callum Wilson in Newcastle's two changes from the win over Crystal Palace.
There were chances on either end during a lively opening which had Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope produce a double before Gregor Kobel parried Anthony Gordon at the other end.
Wilson was introduced in the opening 15 minutes as Isak limped off the field before Dortmund bagged the lead before halftime through a curling finish from Felix Nmecha.
Newcastle piled on the pressure in search of the equaliser through Wilson and Gordon, but both hit the woodwork and left Dortmund to victory.
Celtic 2-2 Atletico Madrid
Celtic remain winless and bottom of Group E following a 2-2 draw against a ten-man Atletico Madrid.
Celtic pulled the first punch as Kyogo Furuhashi went level with goalkeeper Jan Oblak to find the net, but Atleti levelled when Antoine Griezmann finished off a rebound from the spot after Joe Hart parried his initial spot-kick.
The Scottish giants regained the lead as Luis Palma pushed up at the back-post to bring a perfectly angled ball in his stride to find the net.
Diego Simeone's boys clawed back again when Marcos Llorente's penetrative cross saw Alvaro Morata pounce to nod in.
Atletico were down to ten players in the final minutes after Rodrigo De Paul received his marching orders following a second bookable offence, as it finished all square.
Royal Antwerp 1-4 FC Porto
FC Porto came from behind to crush tournament debutants Royal Antwerp 4-1 and leaped to second spot in Group H.
Youngster Alhassan Yusuf gave the host the lead with a well-taken finish late in the first half, but Porto levelled as Evanilson pounced on Mehdi Taremi's assist.
Porto extended their lead and took the initiative for the first time in the match courtesy of Stephen Eustaquio before Evanilson made it three shortly before the end.
Evanilson continued to haunt the host and completed a fine day's work with a hat-trick after another combination with Taremi.
