Okocha, who was well known for his confidence, technique, dribbling skills and creativity, spent four years with PSG from 1998 until 2002.
The 43-year-old also starred for Nigeria in various international tournaments, including winning the 1994 African Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles before starring in an epic '94 World Cup second round defeat to Italy.
Nonetheless, the retired attacking midfielder believes that PSG are close to winning Europe's elite club competition.
He told Surface Magazine, "PSG have become a fantastic team that is very close to winning the Champions League. They have the talents required to win it. I'm happy the club has reached such a level."
The Enugu-born star added that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure to Manchester United wouldn't neccesarily impact the club's performances on the pitch.
"He did fantastic work, but I'm not worried. Things will change, and that will no doubt be positive for the club," he added.
"They just have to think carefully about the way that they are going to move the project forward without him."
