Manchester United 2-3 Galatasaray
Manchester United suffered a second defeat in the UEFA Champions League after a 3-2 loss to Galatasaray on Tuesday night.
Hannibal Mejbri was recalled for Facundo Pellistri, whilst Wilfred Zaha earned a start for Gala against his former club.
The Red Devils enjoyed a strong start as Rasmus Hojlund connected with Marcus Rashford's angled ball in and finished calmly.
Galatasaray clawed back after a certain Zaha got ahead of Diogo Dalot following a tussle for possession and tucked over goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Hojlund restored the lead midway in the second half with a brilliant solo finish, but it last just four minutes as Kerem Artokuglu levelled.
Manchester finished with ten men as Casemiro saw red for bringing down Dries Mertens in the area and conceding a penalty, which Icardi missed.
Icardi made amends with five minutes to go when he charged down on goal following a loose ball and beat Onana with a composed finish.
Napoli 2-3 Real Madrid
Real Madrid made it two wins from two group stages matches to sit at the top of Group C following an entertaining 3-2 victory over Napoli.
It was a buoyant start from Rudi Garcia's men, who were ahead in the opening 20 minutes when Leo Ostigard capitalised on a rebound to slot in, but Vinicius levelled from a layoff by Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham turned up and got the visitors ahead fantastically, but Napoli came back in the second half and levelled when Piotr Zielinski fired in from the spot following Nacho's hand-ball.
However, a stroke of good fortune saw Real claim victory when the opposing goalkeeper Alex Meret found his own net after battling to keep out Luka Modric's shot.
FC Copenhagen 1-2 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich remained at the top of Group A after coming from behind to see off stubborn FC Copenhagen 2-1.
Bayern missed Serge Gnabry due to injury, but weren't short of quality personnel in the final third as Leroy Sane and Harry Kane started.
With the first half goalless, the Danish giants stunned the visitors through Lukas Lerager's volley before Jamal Musiala brought the Bavarians level later on.
Substitute Mathys Tel, who have developed a knack for finding goals from the bench came to the fore again as he got the winner with two minutes to go.
Inter Milan 1-0 SL Benfica
Inter Milan got their first win in this season's Champions League with a 1-0 victory over SL Benfica in Group D.
Benfica, who have Argentine stalwart Angel Di Maria in their ranks, held the Nerazzurri at the break but were fortunate not go behind moments after when Martinez's fierce shot from a clever angle hit the woodwork.
The Italian giants did make their next move count though as Denzel Dumfries got possession and set-up Marcus Thuram to find the back of the net and evidently led Inter to victory.
RC Lens 2-1 Arsenal
Arsenal failed to make it two wins from two group stages after a disappointing 2-1 loss to Ligue 1 side RC Lens in Group B.
Takehiro Tomiyasu, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus were welcomed back by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in the aftermath of their emphatic 4-0 victory over Bournemouth.
The changes didn't seem to affect their momentum this as Jesus pounced on Bukayo Saka's layoff over ten minutes played and made no mistake, but Adrien Thomasson got the host level with a remarkable finish.
Although, the Gunners were called to a substitution ten minutes to halftime as Saka limped uncomfortably and was rightfully replaced by Fabio Vieira.
Lens grabbed the victory late in the 69th minute as Elye Wahi got on the end of a floated ball to finish past David Raya and leave the Gunners with a tail between their legs.
PSV Eindhoven 2-2 Sevilla
PSV Eindhoven and Sevilla remained without a win in Group B as they shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in Eindhoven.
Sevilla were in front soon after halftime when Nemanja Gudelj connected with Sergio Ramos' timeous layoff to volley in.
It opened up thereafter as PSV levelled with a spot-kick from Luuk de Jong later on following a coming-together in the area, but En-Nesyri got the visitors back in front only for Jordan Teze to share the spoils at the death.
