Manchester United's UEFA Champions League campaign came to an end in the group stages after losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils came into the clash knowing their fate was note in their owns but they would have secure a win to stand any chance of qualifying.
The first half ended goalless, but the Bundesliga champions got the breakthrough in the 70th minute via Kingsley Coman's powerful finish.
That proved to be the only goal of the game as Bayern qualified as group winners while United finish bottom in the group.
Copenhagen 1-0 Galatasaray
FC Copenhagen sealed their spot in knockout with a 1-0 win over Galatasaray at the Parken.
Lukas Lerager's 58th minute goal was enough to seal the win for the home side.
Lerager was sent off late in the second half, but Danish side had done enough to hold out for the win and a place in the last 16, while Galatasaray will drop to the Europa League after clinching third place.
PSV Eindhoven 1-1 Arsenal
Arsenal finished top of Group B following a 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven, who secured their spot in the last 16.
The Premier league side drew first blood shortly before the break courtesy of a well-taken finish by Eddie Nketiah on the edge of the box.
Yorbe Vertessen got the all important equaliser for the Dutch side in the 50th minute, which sealed second spot.
RC Lens 2-1 Sevilla
RC Lens will be competing in the Europa League after finishing third in Group B with a 2-1 win over Sevilla.
Przemyslaw Frankowski and Angelo Fulgini got the goals for the home side and secured maximum points.
Sevilla, meanwhile, got their goal via Sergio Ramos' penalty but they finished the campaign bottom of the group.
Union Berlin 2-3 Real Madrid
Real Madrid secured a 3-2 win over Union Berlin in their final Group C clash on Tuesday night.
Kevin Volland got the home side ahead in the 45th minute with his first goal of the campaign.
Carlo Ancelotti's charges did restore parity through Joselu, who got on the end of Rodrygo's cross to head Frederik Ronnow.
Another goal from Joselu and Dani Ceballos sealed the win for Los Blancos, while Alex Kral netted Berlin's second goal.
Napoli 2-0 Sporting Braga
Napoli ended their group stage campaign with a 2-0 win over Sporting Braga on Tuesday night.
An own goal from Serdar Saatçi gave the home side the lead after just nine minutes, while Victor Osimhen got his name on the scoresheet on 33 minutes to extend the lead.
The Serie A side are through to the last 16 while Braga will drop to the Europa League after finishing third in Group C.
Inter Milan 0-0 Real Sociedad
Inter Milan and Real Sociedad settled for a share of the spoils in their final Group D encounter at the San Siro.
With both sides already qualified, the LaLiga outfit managed to seal top spot in the group due to their superior goal difference over Inter.
Salzburg 1-3 Benfica
Benfica ended their group stage journey on a high after a 3-1 win over Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena.
Goals from Angel di Maria, Rafa and Arthur Cabral cancelled out Luka Sucic's solitary strike from Salzburg.
The win sees Benfica finish in third place and will now drop to the Europa League, while Salzburg end the campaign last in Group D.
