Lazio 1-0 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich came unstuck yet again after going down 1-0 to Serie A side Lazio following their last 16 first-leg encounter.
Manager Thomas Tuchel dropped Eric Dier, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Sacha Boey on the back of the dismal defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and recalled Thomas Muller, Raphael Guerreiro and Joshua Kimmich.
Former Tottenham Hotspur man Harry Kane missed a big chance to make the breakthrough early on when he dragged a perfectly placed lay-off from Muller over the top.
Bayern continued to have the better of the chances as the Serie A side sat deep, with Leroy Sane going wide from a free-kick before Jamal Musial mis-directed a loose pass.
However, Bayern received a set-back late on when Dayot Upamecano was shown a straight red card for bringing down Isaksen and conceding a penalty, which Immobile dispatched comfortably.
The German powerhouse weren't able to stage a response as time flew by and ended up with yet another defeat.
