While the annual Team of the UEFA is voted by the supporters, which started earlier this week, UEFA have now released an Ultimate XI

The Ultimate team of the Year is made up of players who made the most Team of the Year appearances since 2000 and it's no surprising to see the Barcelona and Los Blancos dominate the list.

Los Blancos legend Iker Casillas is named as the goalkeeper in the team after being named in six Team of the Year's since turn of the century.

While the team is mostly made up of retired players, there are only four active players to make the cut, including Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo currently holds the record for the most Team of the Year appearances (14), three more than his long-standing rival Lionel Messi.
