OFFICIAL: Man Utd to face Europa League record champions

Manchester United are set for a thrilling battle in the next round of the UEFA Europa League.

The quarter-final draw of the Europa League was confirmed on Friday afternoon and the Red Devils are now set for a two-legged clash against six-time champions Sevilla as they look to add to their recent Carabao Cup win last month.

The English outfit are the only Premier League team in this phase of the tournament after Arsenal were dumped out of the competition by Portuguese side Sporting CP on Thursday.

Marcus Rashford's solitary goal sealed a 1-0 win for United over Real Betis on Thursday and the strike saw him overtake Cristiano Ronaldo and become the club's sixth-highest all-time scorer in European competitions, per UEFA.

Meanwhile, AS Roma will look to continue their run in the Europa League following their triumph in the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League last season.

Their manager Jose Mourinho has won all UEFA club competitions with four different clubs and could add to his two UEL titles when his team face Dutch outfit Feyenoord in the next round.

Italy is the only nation who has more than one team remaining at this stage of the tournament, with Juventus also looking for silverware amid their difficult season, which saw them receive a points deduction in Serie A in January after they were found guilty of "financial irregularities" and "false accounting".

Massimiliano Allegri's side will take on Sporting CP of Portugal.
