AC Milan 0-1 Manchester United (1-2 agg.)

Manchester United secured passage to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League with a 1-0 win over AC Milan in the second leg.

After a scoreless first half, Paul Pogba broke the deadlock for United just minutes after coming with a neat finish from close range after a scramble in the box.

Former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic did have a chance to pull Milan level in the final 10 minutes but his header was saved by Dean Henderson as the visitors held on for a spot in the last eight.

Young Boys 0-2 Ajax Amsterdam (0-5 aggregate)

Ajax Amsterdam advanced to the next round after defeating Young Boys 2-0 in the second leg.

The Dutch giants headed into the second leg with a 3-0 cushion from the first leg a week, but David Neres and a Dusan Tadic penalty finished off the job on Thursday night.

Rangers 0-2 Slavia Praha (1-3 aggregate)

Newly crowned Scottish champions Rangers were eliminated after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Slavia Praha at Ibrox

Rangers managed to secure an away goal in the first leg 1-1 draw last week, but fell behind after 14 minutes in the second leg to Peter Olayinka's 14th minute strike.

The visitors sealed the win and a spot in the next round thanks to Nicolae Claudiu's 72nd minute, as Bongani Zungu's European journey comes to an end.

Rangers also finished the game with nine men after Kemar Roofe and Leon Balogun were given their marching orders in the second half.

Villarreal 2-0 Dynamo Kyiv (4-0 aggregate)

Villarreal eased into the quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv on Thursday night.

After winning the first leg 2-0 seven days ago, Gerard Moreno put the hosts 4-0 up on aggregate after bagging a first-half brace in the second leg.

Arsenal 0-1 Olympiacos (3-2 aggregate)

Arsenal qualified for the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals amidst a 1-0 loss to Olympiacos in the last 16 second-leg on Thursday evening.

The Greek giants, who famously ousted the Gunners from the tournament last season, netted the game's only strike early in the second half through Youssef El-Arabi.

Olympiacos battled to get a second goal inside the closing stages, however were brought to ten players in Ousseynou Ba leaving the tie to a close.

Shakhtar Donetsk 1-2 AS Roma (1-5 aggregate)

AS Roma took Ukrainian powerhouse Shakhtar Donetsk to the cleaners after they recorded a 5-1 triumph over two-legs.

A brace from Borja Mayoral in the second half did the business for the Serie A side despite the best effort of Junior Moraes, as the visitors advanced to the last eight.

Molde FK 2-1 Granada (2-3 aggregate)

Molde FK' gallant 2-1 victory over Granada in the last 16 second-leg couldn't aid them to the last eight passage as they went down 3-2 on aggregate.

An own-goal from Jesus Vallejo give Molde the lead in the first half, but Roberto Soldado got on board for the visitors in the second stanza before Eirik Hestad netted a second for Molde.

Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur (3-2 aggregate)

Dinamo Zagreb overturned a two-goal deficit with a 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in extra-time.

Mislav Orsic was the hero on the day after bagging a hat-trick, including the all important third goal in extra-time to seal Zagreb's spot in the next round.
