UEFA Europa League wrap

Leicester City 2-2 Napoli

Leicester City threw away a two-goal to draw 2-2 with Napoli in their UEFA Europa League opener at the King Power Stadium.

Brendon Rodgers' men put themselves in a comfortable position after Ayoze Perez opened the scoring on nine minutes and Harvey Barnes made it 2-0 in the 64th minute.

However, the Serie A side managed to bag themselves a point thanks to a brace from Nigeria international Victor Osimhen in the final 20 minutes.

The Premier League side also finished the game with 10 men after Wilfried Ndidi got his marching orders in second-half stoppage time after picking up his second yellow card.

Dinamo Zagreb 0-2 West Ham United

West Ham United got off to a positive start in Group H after defeating Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 ay the Stadion Maksimir.

Star forward Michail Antonio and England international Declan Rice got the goals for the Hammers on the night.

Rangers 0-2 Lyon

Steven Gerrard's Rangers did not get the start they were looking for after falling to a 2-0 loss to Olympique Lyon on home soil.

Karl Toko Ekambi silenced the home fans in the 23rd minute with an effort from distance while James Tavernier deflected Islam Slimani's strike into his own net for the visitors' second goal.

Bayer Leverkusen opened their group stage campaign with a come-from- behind win over Ferencvaros.

Exequiel Palacois and Florian Wirtz rescued the Bundesliga giants after Ryan Mmaee had given Ferencvaros a surprise early lead.

AS Monaco 1-0 Sturm Graz

AS Monaco were made to work for their 1-0 win over Sturm Graz in a Group B encounter at the Stade Louis II.

Krepin Diatta managed to bag the game's only goal for the Ligue 1 outfit just after the hour mark.
