UEFA Nations League wrap

Ukraine started their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 2-1 win over Switzerland at the Arena Lviv on Thursday evening.

The goals came courtesy of Andriy Yarmolenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko either side of the half, while Haris Seferovic netted for the Swiss, as Ukraine go top of the group.

Spain needed a last-minute equaliser to get out of jail against Germany in the Group's other encounter in Stuttgart.

Wales ascended to the top of Group of four in League B in the Nations League following a late 1-0 victory over Finland at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.

Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale lined up alongside Daniel James and Kieffer Moore as Ryan Giggs went for all-out attack.

However, it was Moore got the Welsh over the line in the final ten minutes of the half after the match seemed destined for a draw.
