UEFA Nations League wrap

Frank de Boer registered his first win as Netherlands coach as his side defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 on Sunday evening.

The hosts raced into a two-goal in the opening 13 minutes thanks to a brace from Georginio Wijnaldum.

Memphis Depay made it 3-0 for the Dutch in the 55th minute, while Smail Prevljak bagged a consolation for Bosnia.

Italy remain in pole position to advance to the next round from Group 1 after defeating Poland 2-0.

Chelsea star Jorginho opened the scoring on 27 minutes, before Domenico Berardi wrapped up the points in the 83rd minute.

As a result, Roberto Mancini's men sit two points clear of Poland at the summit.

Denmark kept their hopes of advancing to the next round alive with a 2-1 success over Iceland.

Christian Eriksen netted two penalties, including one in the 92nd minute to cancel out Viðar Örn Kjartansson's strike for Iceland.

Denmark now sit two points behind Group 2 leaders Belgium, who they face in their last group game.

Wales moved top of Group 4 in League B with a slender 1-0 triumph over the Republic of Ireland.

Gareth Bale returned to the side and set up the game's only goal in the 66th minute after picking out David Brooks.
