BREAKING: England name star-studded 2022 FIFA World Cup squad

England coach Gareth Southgate has named a star-studded squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, despite some notable names having been left out.

The Three Lions have named a strong team for the upcoming tournament, as they are widely considered to have one of the best squads on paper.

There were little surprises, with regular faces Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, and Jordan Pickford all making the squad. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho, James Ward-Prowse, Ivan Toney, and Jarrod Bowen were not included despite having received the nod in the previous international break.

There was also no room for Italy-based duo AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori and AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
