Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane says they let themselves down "big time" with the defeat to Chippa United on Saturday evening.
Chiefs broke the deadlock courtesy of a header by Siyabonga Ngezana just before the interval but they were pegged back by the equaliser from Siphelele Luthuli.
Chippa got the winner in the last minute from an own goal by Edmilson Dove, with Zwane questioning his side's mindset going into the game.

"Ja, look I think we won the game before it started, you could see the way we started we were a big sluggish, we thought it was gonna be an easy game," Zwane told SuperSport TV.
"And I had to jack them up at half-time to make them aware because let alone that we scored a goal, I think first-half we did not dictate terms, we gave them too much space on the ball, we allowed them to do whatever they wanted to do.
"We didn't show any character and we know we should have done better, had we applied ourselves correctly, put them under pressure, force them to make mistakes.
"In the dying minutes look at how many chances we created in the second half that I believe had we taken two of them then we win the game but ja once you don't take your chances, then this is the story.
"But we have ourselves to blame here, this is one game we could have, you know helped us to keep our confidence sky high but we let ourselves down big time."
Zwane went on to lament their lack of aggression and killer instinct in the final third when they had the chances.
"Ja, you know we didn't work hard for our goal, yes from a set-play but I think we played about 29 minutes without any attempt which is a worrying factor from a team that created a lot of chances in the previous game in the final third entry, where we were promising," he said.
"That's why I'm saying we won the game before it started, we let ourselves down, I hope we can learn from this that you don't win games before we start playing.
"I mean second-half you could see that when we wanted to score we were on top of them in that space of just after conceding the second goal, we created three clear-cut chances, even before we got one that could have given us the lead," he went on.
"From Keagan (Dolly), cut-back and Reeve (Frosler) that side cut-back that side, so we gave it away, we know we could have done better. But ja we move on at the end of the day, I hope we can learn from these kind of games because, ja I don't know what to say but the guys could have done better."
