Monare addresses Pirates future plans

Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare has made a bold statement over his future as his current deal with the Buccaneers is set to expire.

The industrious midfielder has been one of the Buccaneers' key players in the second half of the season. Monare has played the full 90 minutes in three of Pirates' last five games and has not missed a single fixture since the start of the year.

With his current deal with Pirates running out in June, 'Dash' has placed the ball firmly in Pirates' court, declaring his commitment to continue representing the Black and White.

"I have spoken to the club, they how good faith. It's just a matter of making time time, sitting down and discussing my future with the club," Monare told Marawa Sports Worldwide.

"But I just make it clear that I really love the club. I really want to be part of the club and I've been happy being part of this club that, when I arrived, showed that they believe in me. My debut for the club was the derby.

So it really showed how much belief that the club has in me as an individual.

"I just want to go out there that I'd be really happy to still be part of the club and willing to sill work for the club."
