Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has revealed how manager Erik ten Hag put Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo in their place earlier this season.
Having been in the Old Trafford helm since July, the Dutchman has seen a huge improvement in the team's form in the months that followed, but has had to deal with a number of off-pitch issues at the club since too.

At the start of the season, young winger Alejandro Garnacho reportedly pitched up late to two team meetings during the club's preseason tour of Bangkok and Australia, a situation an unimpressed Ten Hag made sure would not happen again.
Rashford, meanwhile, was dropped from the starting line-up against Wolverhampton Wanderers after oversleeping and pitching up late to a team meeting, while Ronaldo was also swiftly dealt with following his controversial interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan.
With Ten Hag choosing to punish all three of the aforementioned players in different ways, Fernandes has now lifted the lid on how the head coach dealt with Ronaldo, Rashford and others when they stepped out of line.
"He demands from people, 'You do it, or you're out'. You don't play," the 28-year-old told club legend Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport series Between The Lines.
"Everyone in the beginning was a bit like, 'If a big player doesn't do what he wants, he will pull him apart or what?'
"And he did it many times, he did it with Cristiano [Ronaldo], with Jadon [Sancho], with Marcus [Rashford] also.

"Marcus did something wrong, and the manager just put him out and everyone was like 'wow'.
"I was sitting with David [de Gea], and I said 'This has to be like this' because, if not, the younger ones will think 'If he does nothing to him, next one he will do nothing to me too'.
"So he demanded there from Rashy 'You have to be consistent in everything', not only in your game and your goals and your performance, but off the pitch also."
