A top Premier League club has now reportedly shortlisted Zinedine Zidane for their managerial role.
Since resigning from the Real Madrid helm in June 2021, the Frenchman has continued to be linked with a number of jobs, including an international role with the USA national team.

Manchester United were linked with him before their appointment of current boss Erik ten Hag, but the 55-year-old was reported to have rejected the position as he considered Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team as his only potential destinations at the time.
However, Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps has signed a new contract until 2026, while PSG are understood to have recently put their former coach Thomas Tuchel in the running to succeed the current man in charge, Christophe Galtier.
As such, Zidane is now in an uncertain position, and it appears the three-time UEFA Champions League-winning tactician may look beyond his native country for his next job, with interest in his services from England having resurfaced.
According to SPORT, Zidane is now in the running to replace Chelsea manager Graham Potter, who is under serious pressure with the Blues having won only two of their past 16 games across all competitions.
It has been claimed that Potter has the next two games, against Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund, to turn things around, with a failure to do so likely to see him get sacked.
Zidane could reportedly face competition for the Chelsea job from his former ElClasico rival coach Luis Enrique, however.
The Spaniard has been without a job since stepping down from his role with the Spain national team.

Both managers have also been linked with the Brazil job, although Enrique was said to have been ruled out of that race this week.
