Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was reportedly confronted by club president Florentino Perez after the team dropped more points in LaLiga on Sunday.
Ancelotti's future at the Santiago Bernabeu has been subject of a lot speculation of late, with the Italian rumoured to set for an exit at the end of the season despite having a contract until June 2024.

There were reports he could take charge of the Brazil national team, who are yet to replace Tite after he resigned following the international side's failure to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
However, the Los Blancos mentor denied those claims, insisting he will see out the remainder of his contract in Madrid unless he is sacked before the end of his term.
It is now reported that the former AC Milan boss is under tremendous pressure in the Spanish capital despite winning the FIFA Club World Cup just last month.
Their 0-0 draw away at Real Betis on Sunday has cast a cloud of uncertainty over his position, with log leaders FC Barcelona now holding a nine-point gap over his side on the league table.
After that stalemate against Betis, Ancelotti failed to appear on time for a post-match press conference, with the away manager usually speaking to the media before the home team coach.
According to Relevo, Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini had to speak first at the media briefing as Ancelotti was delayed because he was still in the dressing room in a tense meeting with his boss Perez, who insisted on meeting with him as soon as he could after the final whistle.

It is said that the Real president was frustrated with the latest result and also unhappy about the team's performance against Atletico Madrid last week.
The ElClasico defeat to Barca in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final last Thursday also did not help matters, and Perez felt that the coach could have done things differently against Betis.
As such, speculation regarding his potential sacking has now gone into overdrive.
