Several teams set to battle for Buchanan signature

Several DStv Premiership sides are reportedly showing interest in the services of free agent Keagan Buchanan.

Buchanan was recently released by AmaZulu after being deemed surplus to requirements by then-head coach Romain Folz - who was shortly after relieved of his duties.

The 32-year-old reportedly has turned down the opportunity to return to Usuthu since Folz's departure.

Cape Town duo Cape Town City and Stellenbosch FC are now believed set to battle for the midfielder's services.

"Keagan had the chance to return to AmaZulu," a source tell KickOff.

"But it looks like he has made up his mind, and is not going back to Durban.

"He is currently back home in Cape Town, where he is spending time with his family before deciding his future in football for next season.

"There is a strong chance that he could join either Cape Town City or Stellenbosch next season."

Meanwhile veteran defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele has returned to AmaZulu alongside other stars since the club's managerial shake-up.
