It was reported that Mane wants to leave Bayern at the end of the season, and that he is keen on a return to the Premier League.
The Bundesliga side is also believed to be ready to part ways with the winger, who has struggled to make his mark since his move from Liverpool ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, while it has also been claimed that he is not in manager Thomas Tuchel's plans for next season.
In a surprising turn of events, however, Sky Germany now reports that Mane has decided he wants to stay at Bayern despite the recent criticism aimed at him following the now-infamous fight with Sane.
It is claimed the Senegal international is determined to prove his doubters wrong and wants to fight to turn his situation around at the Bundesliga reigning champions.
With Tuchel having confirmed that Mane will be part of the squad for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City on Wednesday night, that game presents an ideal opportunity for the forward to help turn his club's fortunes around following their 3-0 defeat in the first leg.
