Ghana international Richard Ofori's pending departure from Orlando Pirates has been attributed to what has happened through the three years that he has spent at the club.
Ofori joined Pirates at the beginning of the 2020/21 season with huge expectations on his shoulders.

Based on how solid he had been at Maritzburg United it was expected that he would solve the goalkeeping challenges at Pirates but that hasn't been the case.
His first season was littered with mistakes as he gathered 22 appearances and kept 12 clean sheets with injuries disturbing him.
Wayne Sandilands provided offered an experienced alternative.
Last season he played 20 games, but his injury concerns meant Siyabonga Mpontshane played more football than him.
This season, Ofori has played 13 games but has again spent more time dealing with his injuries than playing.
This has opened a window of opportunity for Sipho Chaine who has grabbed the chance with both hands.
Ofori has missed 22 games this season, missed 27 last term, and in his first season was not involved in 24 games.
This means he has not been involved in 73 games through the three years that he has spent at Pirates, and this has been due to injuries.
The 29-year-old has missed more games than he has played at Pirates.
"I think it all comes with the expectations of being at a club as huge as Pirates especially as an international," says retired keeper Delewe Delamogo.

"They were expecting that he was going to be the man that is always in goals but injuries and the mistakes that he has made have contributed to why he could be leaving.
"I also noticed some elements of his game that are not convincing," says Delamogo.
Ofori has not played this year with his last appearance having come last year.
