Man Utd in 'advance talks' to sign Napoli Serie A winner

Manchester United are reportedly in talks to sign one of Napoli's key performers from their Serie A title-winning campaign.

Napoli defender Kim Min-jae has seemingly attracted a lot of interest after starring in the Serie A this season following his move from Fenerbahce.

Footmercato have reported that the Red Devils are in advanced talks with the South Korean defender over a potential move to Old Trafford next season.

Min-jae reportedly has a release clause around the €60million mark, which is only available for foreign clubs and the Red Devils are said to be prepared to trigger the clause when it becomes active.

The report does add that Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen on the 26-year-old defender.

Meanwhile, United manager Erik ten Hag claims that there are a number of quality players who are keen on the club's project.

"I see a big difference in comparison with last year," Ten Hag said ahead of the weekend's clash, according to the Mirror.

"There were a lot of reservations last year when I spoke with players.

"Now many players see the project, what's going on, the dynamic and the ambition in this project and the quality especially.

"They are really keen to come, I've noticed that. Where there were a lot of reservations last year, a lot of doubts when we approached players, this year, many quality players really want to come."
