Maritzburg United's list of departures is growing longer with more players understood to be headed for the exit door.
The Team of Choice ended a 15-year stay in the top-flight of South African football after finishing 15th on the 22/23 DStv Premiership campaign and subsequently losing their Premiership status to Cape Town Spurs in the relegation/promotional play-offs.

Since then, there have been a host of departures at the KwaZulu-Natal-based side, including that of head coach Fadlu Davids, who has since joined North African side Raja Casablanca as assistant coach to former Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer.
Winger Jose Ali Meza is understood to have joined Soweto outfit Swallows, while goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner has joined Sekhukhune United.

Additionally, Wayde Jooste and club captain Travis Graham have also announced their exits, with the latter believed to be interested in a move back to Cape Town, KickOff understands. Both Cape Town Spurs and Stellenbosch are interested.
However, Maritzburg's exit list is expected to stretch even longer, as United are unlikely to cope with the players' hefty salaries in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Subsequently, trio Karim Kimvuidi, midfielder Rowan Human and defender Bonginkosi Makume, are all expected to part ways with the club and already under heavy pursuit from suitors.
Meanwhile, defender Bradley Cross, midfielder Sboniso Conco are more players also understood on their way out, as well as Tebogo Tlolane, who spent the season with the Buccaneers while on loan.
In the midst of all, club chairman Farook Kadodia has insisted that it will take some convincing offers to sell his star players.
