Good luck for the campaign ahead, Fabio ??
"Fabio Carvalho has joined RB Leipzig on a season-long loan deal," a statement on Liverpool's official website reads.
"The 20-year-old will spend the 2023-24 campaign with Die Roten Bullen, who finished third in the Bundesliga last term.
"Carvalho joined the Reds from Fulham last summer and scored three goals in 21 appearances in his maiden year with the club.
"He will now continue his development and gain more experience in Germany with Leipzig."
It is understood he completed a medical for the Bundesliga club on Thursday, and that the deal does not include an option to buy, with Jurgen Klopp said to believe the 20-year-old, whose contract Anfield runs until June 2027, has a bright future ahead of him.
The main aim of the interim switch is said to be for the Portuguese star to get more game time following an underwhelming debut campaign in which he featured in only 13 Premier League games and sat on the bench 18 times, per Transfermarkt.
Some believe the loan move could also aid the Reds' bid to sign Leipzig playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai, whose release clause of €70 million (R 1.4 billion) is said to expire at midnight on Friday.
