A second-string Banyana side went down 5-0 to Botswana in an international friendly, with members of the World Cup squad refusing to play at the Tsakane Stadium on Sunday.
Desiree Ellis' troops desired a more fitting send-off as they took stand against the chosen venue, preferring a more prestigious ground like the FNB Stadium or Orlando Stadium and a better opponent.
Apart from the venue and opposition, Banyana are unhappy with the financial arrangements ahead of the global showpiece, where they will face Sweden, Argentina, and Italy in Group G.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Second-String Banyana thrashed in chaotic send-off" story:
"SAFA so useless they can't even manage the World Cup-bound ladies team properly. And they want SA to host the Women's World Cup," says Madiya-Ngalonde.
"Maybe Jordaan was trying to cut costs by playing at that stadium. But why did Botswana team agree to play there? It looks like Banyana girls are too proud," says mzizimike25.
"Viva girls viva, stand your ground and refuse to be bullied by Oom Danny," says Zam d King Buccaneer.
"The protest was about the playing conditions at Tsakane Stadium. Safa should make sure that the playing conditions for friendly matches are the same as those that will be used for the World Cup," says thulasmda.
"I support this standoff! Danny needs to stop using a strong-arm approach in his administration. What's so hard about publicly announcing the new remuneration programme?" asks StheLucipher.

Buccaneers legend Benedict "Tso" Vilakazi is not impressed with two of the signings made by the club so far this transfer window.
The Buccaneers announced the signings of four players, Siphelo Baloni, Patrick Maswanganyi, Katlego Otladisa, and Melusi Buthelezi, with Tso focusing is critique on the latter two.
He feels that Otladisa doesn't come close to the current crop of talent at the Sea Robbers, while pointing out that Pirates shouldn't have signed a keeper from outside the DStv Premiership's top eight with ex-TS Galaxy shot stopper Buthelezi.
Here's how the readers responded to Vilakazi in the "Bucs legend unhappy with latest signings" story:
"At Pirates, coaches do not sign players. That we know. So do not point fingers at Jose. Someone else made the signings and the coach will select whoever he wants, and the rest will go out on loan.
"I must admit too that, Pirates have eyes for talent, unlike Chiefs!" says khothakhosi.
"So, who was supposed to be signed Tso?" asks Isenkge.
"Vilakazi and Junior Khanye... who still takes them seriously? They have never agreed with anything from Pirates or Chiefs. [They are] always on the negative side," says khazamula37.
"Start your own team to avoid unhappiness. You will eat humble pie come the end of next season," says tseliso.
"I get what you're saying Tso, but the coach signs his own preferred type of players according to his needs. Let's see what he is cooking and let's not judge now," says jamesonngcoboj63.
"I only agree with Tso on Otladisa. We have three left footed playmakers. Baloni maybe he will play as number 10 or Maswanganyi, and yes we lack a natural right footed wing.
"Going to play CAF I'm not convinced with Monare and Timm as they lack shooting, long passes and box entry. Look at Man City their double 6, Sundowns with Teboho. Unless we sign Aubass, that boy can give us that thing," says Bucs365.
"He is disappointed as he was advocating for Jali's signing," says Zam d king Buccaneer.
