JUST IN: Kane fee 'agreed'!

Tottenham Hotspur have now reportedly reached an agreement on a transfer fee for Harry Kane with his potential next club!

The Spurs star has been the subject of a lengthy pursuit by German giants Bayern Munich, who are said to be desperate to sign a striker given their evident frailties in that position since the departure of Robert Lewandowski in 2022.

Manager Thomas Tuchel has also publicly stated that his team needs a new No. 9 ahead of his first full season in charge.

Kane has one year remaining on his deal with Spurs, but his future has faced some complications as his parent club has refused to sell him to a Premier League rival.

Bayern have seen a few of their offers rebuffed by Lilywhites chairman Daniel Levy, but have been persistent in seeing the deal over the line.

Now, according to The Athletic, the two clubs have finally reached an agreement on a total fee believed to be worth more than €100 million (R2 billion), including add-ons, with a four-year deal offered to the striker.

The report claims that the decision now lies with Kane as to whether or not he will be playing in the Bundesliga in the 2023/24 campaign.

It was recently reported that Kane's preference was to not leave Spurs after the London outfit's Premier League opener against Brentford on Sunday, with Friday and Saturday now being crucial days for the transfer, according to CaughtOffside.

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, meanwhile, would reportedly like the centre-forward to stay for his first campaign in the team's helm, which would also allow Kane the chance to edge closer to Alan Shearer's record of being the Premier League's all-time top goalscorer, a milestone he has previously been said to desire.
