Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been left astonished by the decision Real Madrid recently took regarding Kylian Mbappe.
After Mbappe decided earlier in this transfer window that he would not trigger the extra year in his current PSG contract, the French club very publicly put him for sale.

However, they have since been stunned that they have not received an offer from Real Madrid to buy him in the weeks that followed, according to AS.
Instead, Los Blancos appear adamant to wait until the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner becomes a free agent to secure his services, with manager Carlo Ancelotti recently confirming that they have decided not to sign any more new players in this window.
As thing stand, the LALIGA giants only have to wait until January to initiate pre-contract talks with Mbappe.

According to Marca, the 24-year-old met with PSG last week, during which he rejected the club's offer of a new deal that would keep him at the Parc des Princes until 2025.
That contract also reportedly contained a "guaranteed sale clause" that would have ensured that they would not lose their star man on a free transfer next year.
In a bid to avoid losing the player on a free in 2024, PSG attempted to sell the striker to Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal for a reported fee of £263 million (R6.1 billion), but Mbappe rejected the move that would have been a world-record transfer.
