The inspection of the Italian international is said to be conducted once more by the Turin Public Prosecutor's Office which previously looked into the alleged betting breaches of Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali and Juventus star Nicolo Fagioli.
It was reported that Florenzi will be questioned by prosecutor Manuela Pedrotta in the next few days for his suspected involvement in "abusive exercise of gambling or betting activities".
Tonali has received a 10-month suspension for illegally betting on his own team, which was AC Milan at the time, to win games. The player also agreed to undergo a gambling rehabilitation plan.
Fagioli, meanwhile, received a seven-month ban after reporting himself to Italian authorities for betting on football.
Along with being fined €12 500 (R249 000), the midfielder had five months of a one-year ban suspended after agreeing to undergo six months of therapy to address his gambling issues.
