French giants Paris Saint-Germain have now reportedly made a drastic decision regarding the future of talisman Kylian Mbappe.
Les Parisiens are said to have halted their efforts in convincing the France international to extend his stay at the club by offering him a new deal.

According to Diario AS via Fichajes, the club is now solely reliant on the possibility of the player deciding to activate the clause in his contract that would extend his stay by one season.
The Ligue 1 side are believed to have reached the conclusion after it was decided that it would be "impossible" to offer the 24-year-old a higher salary.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are said to be monitoring the situation as the January transfer window approaches.
Despite recent reports suggesting that Los Blancos have ruled out the signing of the Frenchman, the LALIGA side are believed to have maintained their interest.
However, it has been said that Los Merengues are taking a cautious approach considering Mbappe rejected the club's advances in 2022 when he ultimately signed an extension with PSG.
Now, it would seem as though the story is rewriting itself with only the ending left to be decided.
With the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner choosing against signing a renewal and reportedly foregoing a loyalty bonus of £87 million (R1.9 billion), Real Madrid will be free to begin pre-contract negotiations with the forward in January if things remain as they are now.
