Midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has addressed reports of putting pen to paper on new contract with Kaizer Chiefs.
The attacking midfielder is a product of the Amakhosi development, Ngcobo was signed from Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal to Chiefs' youth structures in 2014, as part of the first intake of the Soweto Giants' revamped academy.
Ngcobo rose through the ranks and earned a top-flight debut under Steve Komphela in 2018. 'Mshini' most impressive time, however, would come two years later under Gavin Hunt.

It was a campaign that saw Ngcobo feature 40 times for Amakhosi, as the Glamour Boys went as far as the final of the CAF Champions League.
Hampered by mostly injuries, the now 24-year-old is yet rediscover that form. However, all the noise coming out of the Kaizer Chiefs Village is that Ngcobo is seen as a major part of the club's future and a fresh three-year-deal is being negotiated.
Speaking at a club press conference on Thursday, Ngcobo was diplomatic in his response when quizzed a bit his future.
"Obviously I have got a contract with Kaizer Chiefs. I am working hard, My focus is the next game, to get the three points. [All] I can say is that my blood is gold and black," Ngcobo said.

The maestro has also received backing from Chiefs head coach Cavin Johnson.
"Mshini (Ngcobo) is a young Kaizer chiefs player of the future," Johnson said in November.
"I think he just misses out on a lot of match fitness but he's had a big injury, I think a lot of you know that and he's just come back.
"He was out for a while, I think six months, so he's just he's just come back this season and he's showing his capabilities and if we can get him ASAP back to where he should be then he will play more often."
