It was confirmed earlier on Wednesday that Swallows were unable to honour the clash against Sundowns and Saturday's clash against Golden Arrows. The Dube Birds have since apologised and revealed that the players and management are at a disagreement.
Sundowns, however, carried on with their usual preparations and made their way to the stadium, and lined up for the clash in full kit.
This evening's scheduled DStv Premiership fixture between Mamelodi Sundowns and Moroka Swallows which was set for 19h30 at Loftus Stadium did not take place due to the opposition not being able to fulfill the fixture.

The Dube Birds chairman has now explained to KickOff that the players wanted their December salaries to paid earlier.
"The players wanted to receive their December salaries early," Mogashoa told KickOff.
"Unfortunately, the club couldn't meet the expectation of the players and a dispute ensued.
"At the time, club management made a decision to request the cancellation of the last two fixtures of the year."
