Mason Greenwood has once again been thrust into the spotlight after he was subjected to brutal "die" chants during Getafe's recent clash in LALIGA.
The English star has been slowly rebuilding his career in Spain after he was discarded by his parent club Manchester United in September 2023 following a widely publicised sexual assault scandal.
Things on the pitch have gone relatively well, as he has registered five goals and four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for Getafe, while he has also been shown support by a number of his new club's fans.

He was in action during Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Osasuna, but it was an occasion to forget for him as he was subjected to brutal treatment by visiting supporters, as they chanted he must "die".
According to Marca, Osasuna boss Jagoba Arrasate condemned the chants, which included both ones from his own fans directed at Greenwood and Getafe supporters' response.
He said: "The chants of 'F**k Osasuna' were very bad and the chants against Greenwood were very bad too.
"He is a player who, in the end, the justice system had its say.
"He is a very good player. But if we talk about chants, we should talk about all the chants, not just some."
With regards to his future at Old Trafford, reports suggest that the 22-year-old's future will be on the agenda in the coming months amid INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe's acquisition of a 25% stake of the Manchester club.
According to GIVEMESPORT, Ratcliffe has earmarked Newcastle United's Dan Ashworth as a suitable candidate for the sporting director role.
The report also claims that the person who takes up the role will be responsible for making a decision on Greenwood's future but discussions around the matter are only likely to commence around May or June.
