Kaizer Chiefs head coach Cavin Johnson has explained the recent absence of midfield duo Mduduzi Mdantsane and Siyethemba Sithebe.
Chiefs are set to return to competitive action when they take on Moroka Swallows in a Soweto Derby clash on Saturday at FNB Stadium.

One of the major talking points ahead of the fixture has been the absence of Sithebe, who has featured just once for Chiefs this season, and has been linked with a move away from Naturena, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Mdantsane has fared slightly better, making 11 appearances and scoring one goal. But his last appearance was against Cape Town Spurs at the start of November.
The 29-year-old has so far struggled to assert himself as a starting player since his high-profile move from Cape Town City ahead of the new season.

Speaking at the media open day at Kaizer Chiefs Village on Tuesday, Johnson explained why the duo have featured in Chiefs' recent match.
"Mdantsane just came back from an injury so he is still coming back," Johnson said.
"Sithebe? I don't think I have a problem with Sithebe he is just waiting for his turn. I have worked with Sithebe before. He is a very positive person. Off the pitch and on the pitch."
The pair were fully both involved in Chiefs' midweek training sessions ahead of the match against Swallows. Kick off is at 17:45.
